Role Overview
We are seeking a Tool Hire Controller to join our Sittingbourne location. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our tool hire operations function seamlessly while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily tool and equipment hire activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle customer inquiries through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions professionally.
- Accurately process hire bookings, contracts, and customer orders.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate deliveries and collections efficiently with our drivers.
- Maintain equipment servicing schedules, ensuring all legal compliances are met.
- Manage invoice processing and administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
Candidate Profile
Applicants must have prior experience in the tool hire sector. We seek candidates with:

Working Hours
This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, either 07:00-16:30 or 07:30-17:00. Additionally, the role requires working every alternate Saturday from 08:00 to 12:00.
