Job description
Role Overview
The Toolstore Coordinator will oversee the accurate tracking, servicing, repair, and management of Liebherr's range of specialized and general tooling. This encompasses arranging maintenance schedules, collaborating with suppliers and contractors, and performing general store functions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the issuance and return process of tooling and equipment
- Maintain cost savings on workshop consumables on a monthly basis
- Engage with suppliers for quotations regarding repair and procurement of tooling and equipment
- Organize maintenance, repair, calibration, and servicing of all tooling and equipment
- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for services and materials needed
- Maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) register alongside department personnel
- Operate load shifting machinery as required
- Monitor and report on safety audits related to tools and equipment
- Keep repair schedules and histories updated for compliance and audit purposes
- Prepare tooling for transport to various sites
Candidate Profile
- Holding a valid High Risk Forklift License is mandatory
- Experience in warehouse operations is essential
- A background in a mechanical trade is preferred
- Competent in data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities
