Role Overview

Liebherr Earthmoving and Material Handling is seeking energetic and committed Field Service Technicians to operate across Auckland and wider New Zealand regions. This position involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse range of equipment such as wheel loaders, material handlers, and excavators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics.
  • Conduct major and minor servicing tasks.
  • Execute maintenance work and replace machine components as needed.
  • Undertake fabrication and assembly of new machines when required.
  • Complete detailed service reports accurately and promptly.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships in the field.
  • Engage directly with key customers to provide exceptional service.
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime at a higher pay rate.

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Trade qualification as a Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanic.
  • Experience with Liebherr earthmoving equipment is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and work overtime as necessary.
  • Proficient fault diagnosis abilities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Holding forklift, W, T, R, and air conditioning certifications is beneficial.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong dedication to adhering to workplace safety standards and protocols.

Additional Information
