Test Analyst

Job Summary

We seek a Test Analyst skilled in Web Services Testing and REST API validation to help ensure the delivery of high-quality enterprise Billing & Revenue Management software.

Experience Requirements

• Between 2 and 3 years of professional experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
• Proficient in testing Web Services and APIs.
• Familiarity with Functional, Regression, and Integration testing approaches.

Core Responsibilities

• Craft and implement comprehensive test scenarios and cases derived from both business and technical specifications.
• Conduct testing including functional, regression, and integration types on web services and APIs.
• Verify REST API aspects such as endpoints, data payloads in requests/responses, status codes, authentication methods, and error management.
• Build and sustain reusable test suites and accompanying test datasets to optimize test efficiency.
• Detect, record, and follow defects, providing in-depth analysis and accompanying documentation.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to guarantee delivery quality.
• Analyze application logs and service monitoring outputs to diagnose and confirm issues.
• Assist with release preparedness through detailed test reports, quality measure tracking, and evaluating potential risks.
• Adhere to established quality standards, security policies, and recognized testing methodologies.
