Technical Lead – Microsoft Dynamics 365

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead to spearhead the technical strategy, architecture, and development governance for an intricate Microsoft Dynamics 365 project.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and lead the comprehensive technical architecture encompassing Dynamics 365, integrations, portals, business rules, and ancillary technologies.
• Guide and support cross-functional development teams with mentorship and oversight.
• Design and manage Dynamics 365/Dataverse, including workflows, security frameworks, system integrations, and bespoke customizations.
• Supervise APIs, system integrations, digital portals, along with business rules and decision engines to ensure cohesiveness.
• Guarantee that all solutions adhere to standards for security, scalability, maintainability, and technical compliance.
• Conduct thorough technical design and code reviews, troubleshoot issues, coordinate testing phases, manage releases, and ensure production readiness.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, comprehensive documentation, and technical governance protocols.
• Identify potential technical risks, dependencies, and obstacles; drive resolutions efficiently and promptly.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of expertise in designing and delivering production-level distributed systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Extensive experience developing REST APIs, microservices architectures, event-driven systems, and distributed applications.
• Robust experience with AWS services covering compute, storage, networking, and identity and access management.
• Practical knowledge of edge computing technologies including CDN execution environments, edge workers, Lambda@Edge, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience in building data infrastructure or platforms that support machine learning inference and model deployment.
• In-depth understanding of system architecture principles related to scalability, reliability, observability, and security best practices.
• Proven track record of launching systems from initial concept to production in dynamic environments with changing requirements.
• Excellent communication skills capable of influencing cross-team technical decisions effectively.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and workflows powered by large language models.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Python programming skills, particularly for data engineering or automation scripting.
• Experience with Databricks or comparable data and AI platforms.
• Knowledge of ML model registries and feature management platforms.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as JWT/JWS, PKI, and OAuth 2.0.
• Exposure to distributed tracing, structured logging, and observability solutions.
• Experience developing multi-party integrations or network/platform services.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
