Job description
Position Objective
This role entails offering personalized services to clients by focusing on garment modifications and adjustments tailored to meet individual requirements.
The tailor is responsible for executing repair tasks and garment alterations that fulfill customer needs. Customers typically return to the shop for fittings and to determine if additional modifications are necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear communication and deliver personalized customer service.
- Meet deadlines effectively while completing tasks.
- Carry out garment alterations using thread or sewing machines.
- Adapt and enhance existing clothing designs.
- Create new patterns or modify current ones as needed.
- Press garments to ensure a finished appearance.
- Perform other duties related to the tailoring role when required.
