Tableau Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The position involves working within the current Tableau environment to enhance dashboard functionality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operation of data visualization tools.

Primary Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate existing Tableau dashboards for enhancements.
• Create, adjust, and debug filters within dashboards to optimize data display.
• Set up relationships and dependencies between various filters to ensure accurate data filtering.
• Review and refine parameters and calculated fields where necessary to improve dashboard value.
• Identify and resolve issues related to data filtering.
• Conduct thorough testing of dashboards following any modifications.
• Publish new or updated dashboards within the established Tableau environment.

Additional Expertise

This role also involves collaboration with Senior Oracle ODI consultants who handle the assessment, upgrade, and troubleshooting of Oracle Data Integrator environments. The candidate should be aware of the importance of upgrading, validating, and documenting ODI components and procedures.

• The position is freelance with part-time and task-based assignments.

• The consultant is expected to provide comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer upon task completion.
