Structural & Design Engineer - Residential Villas

Position Overview

Creative Home Building Contracting LLC is looking for a hands-on Structural & Design Engineer experienced in handling high-end residential villa projects within the UAE market. The role involves comprehensive responsibilities from structural modeling to managing approvals, focusing on new villa constructions, extensions, rebuilds, and renovations.

Main Duties

• Performing detailed structural calculations and design work for reinforced concrete foundations and superstructures, steel pergolas, and structural modifications using software like ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro.
• Assessing existing villa structures for renovations, including load-bearing wall evaluations and engineering steel or concrete solutions for openings and additions.
• Creating and coordinating integrated structural and MEP layout drawings (including electrical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC) using AutoCAD and Revit ensuring project compliance and feasibility.
• Preparing and submitting complete documentation packages for technical authority approvals with Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, DEWA, Civil Defense, and major master developers such as Emaar and Nakheel.
• Engineering outdoor structural elements including pools, water features, pump rooms, boundary walls, and various hardscape structures.
• Conducting frequent onsite inspections of reinforcement, formworks, concrete applications, and modifications to ensure adherence to approved designs and UAE building regulations.
• Providing technical clarifications, reviewing shop drawings, and addressing contractor queries promptly.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Registration with Dubai Municipality/Society of Engineers with minimum G+1 license.
• At least 3 to 7 years of relevant structural design and site engineering experience focused on residential villas within UAE.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, and other structural design software.
• Solid understanding of Dubai Building Code, ACI 318, British Standards, and local authority requirements.
• Capability to produce detailed residential MEP coordination drawings.

Preferred Skills & Extras

• Holding a UAE driving license and owning a vehicle is highly advantageous for site visit facilitation.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and drawing structural components for swimming pools and landscape outdoor features.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position based in Dubai, requiring regular presence at project locations for site inspections and coordination.
