Role Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of retail store operations, ensuring alignment with company standards in areas such as merchandising, staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and inventory control.
Key Duties
- Manage all store activities ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Lead and inspire store employees to meet business targets and foster staff development.
- Participate in merchandising efforts including stocking merchandise and unpacking shipments daily.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle complex customer issues effectively.
- Maintain high visual merchandising and presentation standards throughout the store.
- Ensure store cleanliness and safety protocols are consistently followed.
- Oversee cash handling processes and the opening and closing procedures of the store.
- Provide constructive feedback and delegate tasks to team members efficiently.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations for store personnel.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of two years experience in retail management with team leadership responsibilities.
- Availability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills coupled with sound decision-making capabilities.
- Effective leadership qualities and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and excel in a fast-paced retail environment.
