Job description
Role Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for supervising and managing everyday retail operations. This includes visual merchandising, recruitment, employee training, scheduling, and managing inventory. The manager ensures that all store activities adhere to company policies and standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Managing the entire store operation to ensure alignment with corporate standards and policies.
- Leading, coaching, and motivating team members to meet and exceed business objectives.
- Supporting merchandising efforts, including stocking products and unpacking shipments on a daily basis.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving any complicated customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Upholding visual merchandising practices to maintain store aesthetics.
- Ensuring that the store environment is safe and clean at all times.
- Overseeing cash handling procedures as well as opening and closing duties of the store.
- Providing performance evaluations and assigning tasks to team members.
- Managing recruitment and employee performance processes.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years of experience in retail management and team leadership roles.
- Availability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills paired with sound decision-making capabilities.
- Proven leadership qualities and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work setting.
