Job description
Role Summary
The Stocker position involves managing the stocking and cleanliness of the store under the direction of the Store Manager.
Primary Duties
- Warmly greet customers as they enter the store or gasoline island area.
- Arrange products in coolers and freezers according to the planogram standards.
- Stock merchandise on store shelves and displays following planogram instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness of coolers and store shelving units.
- Use the FIFO (first-in, first-out) method to rotate back stock onto the sales floor.
- Label products with prices according to company guidelines.
- Perform all tasks safely utilizing necessary equipment such as ladders, step ladders, gloves, and tools.
- Clean and replenish restrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness and restock food and beverage service areas.
- Clean and restock supplies at the gasoline island.
- Wipe down gas pumps, store windows, and window sills.
- Organize and clean back rooms.
- Perform other assigned work-related responsibilities as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Capable of bending, standing, and walking throughout the entire workday.
- Comfortable climbing ladders.
- Experience or ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to regularly lift 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
