Key Duties

• Assemble and prepare customer orders accurately from various temperature zones, ensuring proper product selection, quantity confirmation, and labeling.
• Identify and select fresh, high-quality items while removing any damaged products; maintain precise documentation including pick slips and shipping labels.
• Arrange packing efficiently to optimize space without compromising item quality and safety.
• Engage with customers positively while balancing order fulfillment and team tasks, assisting with queries and issues.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and food hygiene standards, maintain cleanliness by promptly addressing spills, and ensure packing totes are clean before use.
• Operate equipment safely and perform required safety inspections; demonstrate adaptability and suggest improvements to enhance workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Be flexible to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business demand.

Challenges

• Manage a high volume of work effectively in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts.
• Maintain physical endurance through standing extended periods, bending, and lifting stock weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive tasks like stocking, zoning, and organizing with care to uphold store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.90.
