Job description
Position Overview
Joining Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate offers an excellent chance to gain practical experience in a high-energy retail setting. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the store operates efficiently by unloading shipments, processing inventory, and transferring stock to sales areas while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
Key Duties
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders from various temperature zones to support timely delivery, verifying product types, quantities, and codes.
- Ensure product quality by selecting fresh stock and removing damaged items, completing all necessary documentation including pick slips and labels accurately.
- Optimize packing to fully utilize space without compromising safety or product condition.
- Maintain a positive customer and team environment by assisting customers and resolving issues while performing fulfillment tasks.
- Adhere strictly to safety, food hygiene, and quality standards by keeping work areas clean, promptly addressing spills, ensuring totes are sanitized before use, and safely operating equipment.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule by accepting shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
Challenges
- Manage high task volumes efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts, by planning and maintaining focus.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and repetitive stock organization while ensuring accuracy.

Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $18.40 per hour.
