Position Overview

Join Sodexo as a Steward at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center. This full-time role involves ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment in the food service back-of-house, essential to supporting kitchen operations, events, and catering services.

Work Schedule and Location

The position requires flexibility with varying shifts and days; open availability is preferred. Exact schedule details will be shared during the interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sanitation procedures for food service areas at opening and closing times.
• Organize and store equipment, supplies, and service ware correctly.
• Manage waste disposal, recycling, and grease removal according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of floors, drains, and work surfaces.
• Regularly lift and handle materials up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 40 pounds.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
• Perform additional duties as required by business or client needs.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma, GED, or similar credentials.
• Experience in stewarding, sanitation, or food service support is advantageous.

Compensation

The role offers an hourly pay rate of $18.
