We are seeking a Specialist Field Application Engineer dedicated to FPGA products to join our expert team in Munich, Germany. This role involves supporting customers with tailored application solutions focused on FPGA and high-end electronic product portfolios. Key Responsibilities
The main task of the Specialist Field Application Engineer is to deliver customized application support to clients, specifically leveraging the company’s FPGA product franchises. This includes effectively positioning product proposals, design solutions, and applications to customers. The engineer will apply knowledge gained from education, industry experience, and manufacturer training sessions to foster long-term customer engagement. A systems solution approach is essential to promote products and capture customer applications precisely within the company’s CRM platform. Success is measured by converting major design opportunities into wins through direct customer support and application expertise.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and German, be degree holders in Electronics Engineering, and have a minimum of five years of design-related experience within field roles or electronics companies. Essential technical skills include expertise in FPGA design, microprocessor units (MPU), and embedded solutions. While experience in Embedded Linux is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates should be adept at multitasking, prioritizing, working effectively under pressure, and motivated to assist fellow engineers in bringing successful projects to market. A proactive attitude with a strong problem-solving capability is highly sought after.
