Software Engineer - Nest.js

Position Overview

Seeking a seasoned backend software engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience specializing in NestJS framework development. The role involves designing and implementing scalable backend solutions using advanced TypeScript and Node.js, particularly focusing on API and event contract creation.

Core Responsibilities and Expertise

• Develop with deep proficiency in NestJS, mastering modules, dependency injection, guards, interceptors, pipes, validation mechanisms, and API documentation with Swagger/OpenAPI standards.
• Utilize NX monorepo strategies effectively to manage shared libraries, dependency graphs, and optimize build and test processes.
• Architect and maintain event-driven systems, leveraging Kafka or equivalent technologies, ensuring robustness via retries, idempotency, and handling schema and version evolutions.
• Construct Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) or API orchestration layers integrating various upstream services.
• Exhibit solid experience handling MongoDB databases optimized for low-latency operational requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams exhibiting excellent communication skills to deliver coordinated software projects.
