Overview
Fidelity Investments Workplace Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to support and enhance our equity compensation recordkeeping platform. The role is vital to advancing Stock Plan Services' capabilities globally, impacting a client base of over 500 Fortune 1000 companies. The successful candidate will contribute to designing and delivering new features and improvements on a premier industry system handling grants of stock, stock options, and related derivatives via brokers domestically and internationally.
Team Environment
You will join a dynamic technology team within SPS, collaborating closely with delivery squads, tech and squad leads, quality engineering, support, and operations. Together, the group builds real-time recordkeeping functionality on a modern, cloud-enabled infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology-related discipline such as Computer Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Java EE development focused on high-volume enterprise applications.
- Proven expertise developing middle-tier Java RESTful services.
- Familiarity with relational database systems.
- Understanding of cloud computing and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines within an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environment.
