Role Overview
We seek a Site Reliability Engineer who will take ownership of designing, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure powering AI Co-Workers. This position is practical and hands-on, requiring close collaboration with product, AI, and engineering teams to uphold system reliability end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer, deploy, and manage dependable production systems supporting AI Co-Workers.
- Manage Kubernetes-based platforms that host AI workloads.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform for automation and provisioning.
- Implement Helm charts and workflows to streamline Kubernetes application deployments.
- Enhance observability by improving monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to ensure systems are resilient, scalable, and secure.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Kubernetes, with hands-on experience designing or operating workloads on cloud platforms like EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience using Terraform to provision and automate infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Helm for deploying applications in Kubernetes environments.
- Skilled in at least two programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, Java, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Strong communication ability, capable of engaging in detailed technical discussions as well as conveying concepts to leadership.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within structured software development life cycles, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and full delivery lifecycle from design to operations.
- Hands-on familiarity with one or more major cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge or experience using ArgoCD or GitOps deployment methodologies.
- Five or more years in relevant professional roles.
- DevOps expertise encompassing CI/CD ownership, infrastructure automation, and incorporating security into workflows.
Desired Certifications
- Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), cloud certifications, DevOps or DevSecOps credentials, or relevant programming certifications.
