Role Overview

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) passionate about enhancing infrastructure reliability, automating systems, and building scalable production environments that deliver exceptional performance worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure and enhance the reliability and stability of production infrastructure.
• Manage and support software deployments and infrastructure modifications.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code implementations using Ansible and Terraform.
• Oversee Kubernetes clusters and containerized systems, optimizing their operation.
• Develop automation scripts and build internal operational tools.
• Monitor system health, analyze incidents, and increase system observability proactively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, quality assurance, DevOps, and other SRE teams to improve CI/CD workflows.
• Operate monitoring and alerting solutions to reduce downtime and boost system performance.
• Maintain detailed technical documents, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Support networking infrastructure components such as DNS, WAF, CDN, and caching as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, System Administration, or Build/Release Engineering.
• Proficient Linux system administration and troubleshooting expertise.
• Hands-on ability with Kubernetes and container technologies like Docker or Podman.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including Ansible and Terraform.
• Strong proficiency in Bash scripting.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or VictoriaMetrics.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and related troubleshooting.
• Comfortable with version control using Git and modern software development workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, assume ownership, and actively improve infrastructure components.
• Fluency in Russian and at least intermediate (B1) English skills for documentation and team communications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ and AMQP protocols.
• Knowledge of Cloudflare, Akamai, WAF, and CDN technologies.
• Python programming capabilities.
• Expertise in advanced tracing and observability tools.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a public GitHub portfolio.
