Job Overview

The Signaling Engineer will ensure the optimal reliability, availability, and safety of railway signaling systems. This role demands effective maintenance planning, thorough fault analysis, and strong technical leadership aimed at enhancing system performance within an active railway setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor signaling system operations to maintain peak performance.
• Investigate signaling issues at Level 1 and 2, conducting root cause analyses.
• Establish and review maintenance procedures, checklists, and scheduling.
• Lead and oversee maintenance work conducted in the field.
• Examine system logs to detect faults or irregularities.
• Collaborate with traffic control and maintenance teams during incidents and service disruptions.
• Participate and support emergency response and recovery tasks, including shift or on-call duties if necessary.
• Ensure all activities are compliant with safety regulations, maintenance guidelines, and legal requirements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance system operation with technical improvements, including modifications and upgrades.
• Compile technical documentation such as reports on failures and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or preferably Railway Engineering.
• Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
