About the Role
As a Shift Leader at Panda Restaurant Group, you will play a vital leadership role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will help bring our mission to life by supporting management to create delicious food, heartfelt service, and an inviting atmosphere. This position offers the chance to lead operations during your shift, develop cooking skills preparing Panda favorites, and foster a welcoming environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily store activities and lead the team through each shift.
- Create a lively and friendly atmosphere that appeals to customers.
- Prepare menu items with hands-on cooking experience.
- Support personal growth and help develop team members’ skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum education: some high school completed.
- Preferred: prior operations experience.
- Must obtain and maintain any local certifications such as Food Handler’s Permit at own expense.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, using kitchen tools and equipment efficiently, and working in hot, noisy environments.
- Strong verbal communication skills and adaptability to a fast-changing work environment.
- Capacity to manage challenging situations and conflicts effectively.
