Overview

Join Infinity Group in Melbourne as a Settlements Coordinator managing property developments. This full-time role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth and timely settlements by coordinating between brokers, conveyancers, solicitors, developers, and finance teams. Post-probation, the role includes one work-from-home day, with a salary of $80,000 plus superannuation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact between mortgage brokers, legal professionals, developers, and internal finance departments.
  • Oversee settlement pipelines and key dates for multiple property developments, approximately 90 days pre-settlement through to completion.
  • Analyze contracts and legal reports to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Leverage mortgage lending knowledge to challenge brokers on missing details, timelines, and conditions.
  • Ensure finance files are accurately prepared, advanced, and submitted.
  • Coordinate valuations and communicate with valuers as needed.
  • Escalate any settlement or finance issues proactively to prevent deadline breaches.
  • Provide transparent updates on settlement and finance statuses to external parties.
  • Monitor and review high-risk settlement files weekly, ensuring timely completion of necessary actions.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess 2–3 years or more experience in settlements, conveyancing, broker support, or finance coordination.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of the mortgage lending process from approval to settlement.
  • Have experience with contracts, conveyancing documents, and settlement procedures.
  • Comfortable holding brokers, solicitors, and conveyancers accountable for timelines and details.
  • Able to manage high volume and competing deadlines effectively.
  • Exhibit clear, professional communication skills with senior external stakeholders.
  • Show strong ownership and commitment to closing tasks without delay.
  • Background in conveyancing or broker support is advantageous.

Why Work at Infinity Group?

  • Ownership over outcomes rather than mere administrative tasks.
  • High-trust culture that recognizes and values performance.
  • Collaboration opportunities with experienced lending and finance teams.
  • Access to Infinity's education programs focused on financial freedom.
  • A company culture emphasizing accountability, pace, and quality.

Community Involvement

Infinity Group is committed to charitable efforts, having raised $250,000 in 2024 and over $1,000,000 in 2025 through the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal.
