Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (P3) based in Cork, Ireland, to lead the integration of SystemC Virtual Platforms into CodeFusion Studio, ADI’s VS Code–based IDE. The role involves collaborating with diverse teams to facilitate a smooth transition from virtual system platforms to actual hardware, allowing customers to commence software development and device configuration earlier in the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to integrate SystemC virtual platforms into the CodeFusion Studio environment.
- Develop software components using C++ and Python to support simulations and tooling infrastructure.
- Work closely with modeling, software, and hardware teams to ensure virtual platforms accurately reflect silicon behaviors.
- Establish workflows that enable early-stage software development, validation, and system configuration.
- Adopt and promote best practices in software engineering such as version control, testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and debugging.
- Provide support to internal teams and customers by aiding adoption and resolving issues.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in software development or system-level modeling.
- Proficient in programming with C++ and Python.
- Experienced in using git version control systems.
- Familiar with SystemC or equivalent simulation frameworks.
- Good understanding of model-based design principles.
- Knowledgeable about modern software development workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with virtual platform or system-on-chip (SoC) modeling.
- Understanding of embedded software development environments.
- Experience designing or integrating IDE tooling, extensions for VS Code, or developer workflows.

Additional Information
- Travel requirement: Approximately 10% travel.
- Shift: First shift, daytime schedule.
