Senior Product Engineer (Typescript, Node)

Role Overview

Join SoSafe as a Senior Fullstack Engineer in the Simulation Team to contribute towards revolutionizing human risk management in cybersecurity. You will develop and maintain scalable software solutions primarily using Typescript with React and Node within AWS cloud infrastructure. Your work will shape the architecture of sophisticated web applications, collaborating closely with platform and frontend teams for seamless integration. Additionally, you'll mentor and support less experienced developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, monitor, and sustain robust fullstack applications employing Typescript, React, and Node.js hosted on AWS.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for complex web-based software systems.
• Coordinate efforts with platform and frontend development teams to ensure smooth system interoperability.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior developers to support their growth.

Candidate Profile

• At least five years of experience in software development with modern technologies, including minimum three years specifically with React, Node.js, and Typescript.
• Proficient in working with relational databases, preferably Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles and microservices-based system architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Comfortable using monitoring and observability tools such as Sentry, Datadog, and Grafana.
• Experience working in scale-up environments or rapidly evolving SaaS companies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Well-developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
