The candidate will work closely with foundries, internal technology groups, and business units to qualify and release manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive local lead product ramp-up under NTI and foundry process transitions.
  • Act as the primary owner for safe front-end process launches, coordinating with foundries during the ramp phase to enhance manufacturability and yield.
  • Engage directly with critical customer projects as a key interface.
  • Lead and manage projects to ensure timely delivery aligning with business needs.
  • Make principal decisions concerning process integration balancing technical and operational factors including resources, schedules, logistics, and supplier relations.
  • Manage NTI process transfer activities within foundries and any joint ventures involving NXP.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Over 13 years of relevant experience in front-end integrated circuit process integration, preferably within foundry production or development environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of integrated circuit devices and processes; knowledge of High Voltage (HV)/BCD and Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) technologies is advantageous.
  • Expertise in yield enhancement strategies supported by strong data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin, essential for interaction with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding teams responsible for development, transfer projects, or production ramp-up activities.
  • Excellent communication and persuasive skills to effectively guide discussions and influence stakeholders.
  • A proactive, innovative, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach towards work.
  • Experience in managing relationships with foundries to optimize leverage and outcomes.
