About Barnes Aerospace Singapore
Barnes Aerospace Singapore, legally known as Windsor Airmotive Asia Pte Ltd, is a prominent provider specializing in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services and supplying spare parts for major turbine engine manufacturers, airline operators, and third-party providers globally. The OEM Division focuses on precision stamped assemblies and tight tolerance machining, catering to a diverse aerospace customer base worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute quality assurance activities relating to products, processes, and maintenance of the quality management system, ensuring adherence to government, aviation authority, and customer standards and requirements.
- Review and update quality procedures and control instructions as necessary.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and suppliers to address non-conformance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective measures aimed at lowering poor quality costs.
- Conduct internal audits evaluating quality systems, products, and processes following standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, and NADCAP.
- Perform audits on vendors and on-site facilities when required.
- Maintain compliance with customer and regulatory authority stipulations.
- Work consistently towards reducing monthly scrap and Cost of Poor Quality.
Candidate Qualifications
- At least two years of experience working with ISO9001, AS9100 Quality Management Systems, and NADCAP standards.
- Proficiency in problem-solving tools including fishbone diagrams, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and the 5-whys technique.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication capabilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks, detail-oriented and precise in work approach.
- Familiarity with NADCAP accreditation processes.
Educational Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or other relevant fields.
