Senior Planning Engineer

Overview

Rumoz Consulting Engineers is seeking a seasoned Senior Planning Engineer to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a candidate with extensive experience in planning and production planning within the engineering or construction sectors to effectively develop and oversee detailed project schedules and resource allocations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with production planning.
• Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams and clearly communicate planning data to project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progression, oversee risk management, and aid in controlling both costs and timelines across various project stages.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant planning experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related engineering disciplines; advanced qualifications like a postgraduate degree or certifications such as PMP or PSP are advantageous.
• Substantial background in planning roles related to engineering, construction, or urban development projects.
• Expertise in project planning software including Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and complying with quality and safety requirements.
• Willingness to work on-site in Riyadh.
