Role Overview
The PinTech team drives partnerships across varied companies to deliver world-class Pinterest experiences. As a Partner Support Engineer, you will work directly with key Tier 1 clients spanning Pinterest’s diverse product lines such as Enterprise, Adtech, Shopping, and Growth. Your role involves advocating Pinterest’s technologies, architecting scalable partner solutions, and providing expert technical assistance to help hundreds of millions find inspiration. This position requires occasional on-site presence in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary expert on Pinterest API and partner integration strategies.
- Gain in-depth understanding of Pinterest’s business product suite for effective deployment and troubleshooting.
- Drive the design, development, and large-scale adoption of Pinterest integration products with strategic partners.
- Manage technical engagements with Tier 1 partners and enterprise advertisers, delivering customized support and overseeing complex projects from start to finish.
- Provide both proactive and reactive technical assistance through structured support channels to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support Pinterest business solutions including measurement and delivery systems.
- Lead end-to-end engineering efforts for new API releases, major integrations, and critical bug resolutions, collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- Build and maintain monitoring tools to guarantee high availability and performance of partner integrations.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to tailor solutions meeting partner-specific needs.
- Develop standardized tools, processes, and documentation frameworks for the team’s operations.
- Champion cross-functional initiatives shaping Pinterest’s wider developer ecosystem and mentor junior engineers on technical and client-facing challenges.
- Initiate and lead AI-driven automation projects that enhance operational effectiveness and scalability of support workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in support, solution, or partner engineering roles, preferably with a large-scale consumer technology platform.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions and manage partner/client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience integrating external APIs at scale, utilizing SDKs or custom client-side programming.
- Proficiency with complex data manipulation scripting, ideally using Python or comparable shell scripting languages.
- Strong enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to improve work quality and promote experimental AI applications in team workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Additional Information
- Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
- Position requires commuting to the Dublin office 1-2 times per month to facilitate in-person collaboration.
- Salary range for this location is €79,337 to €138,840 EUR annually, with eligibility for equity compensation. Final offer depends on factors including location, experience, and skills.
