Their Ahmedabad engineering team develops production-grade software including RAG and LLM integrations, Azure AI deployments, document automation, and custom web and mobile applications, working primarily US Pacific hours to provide real-time client collaboration.

Job Overview

This on-site full-time role in Ahmedabad reports directly to the Founder & CEO and balances approximately 70% hands-on software engineering with 30% technical leadership and mentoring. The shift aligns with US Central Standard Time (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST), equivalent to 6:30 PM - 3:30 AM in India.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of architecture, development, testing, and deployment across one or two client projects, managing the full lifecycle from requirement gathering to production release.
• Own release processes completely, including building CI/CD pipelines, validating deliverables, and ensuring live production status with accountability until proven successful.
• Provide technical solutions independently, presenting clear recommendations and tradeoffs to unblock challenges without escalating routine technical decisions.
• Make informed architectural and implementation choices for assigned projects, owning these decisions and their consequences.
• Maintain high standards of code quality through rigorous code reviews, adequate test coverage, consistent documentation, and a firm definition of done.
• Mentor and guide a team of two to four engineers, conducting structured code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and fostering professional growth, including preparing some for lead roles.
• Engage directly with clients to explain architectural decisions, timelines, and technical tradeoffs without intermediaries.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• More than six years of experience developing and deploying enterprise web applications using C#/.NET, including current versions (.NET 8/9) and legacy .NET Framework.
• Expertise in ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API development, RESTful service design, and Entity Framework/EF Core.
• Strong proficiency in React or a similar modern JavaScript framework, as well as fundamental web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, relational data modeling, and query optimization.
• Proven experience deploying and managing Azure services including App Service, Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and Blob Storage in production environments.
• Hands-on experience configuring and owning CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, not just utilizing pipelines created by others.
• Knowledge of Git branching strategies and team release workflows, including hotfix processes.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design principles, unit testing, and integration testing as integral development practices.
• Ability to integrate and troubleshoot third-party platforms and APIs beyond one’s own codebase.
• Comfort working in Agile delivery frameworks across multiple concurrent projects, collaborating directly with product owners and clients.
• Fluent communication skills in spoken and written English suitable for client-facing discussions.
• Demonstrated mentorship experience with verifiable references.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, RAG pipelines, and vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Competence with Docker and containerized deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with React Native or mobile application development.
• Background in regulated industries like fintech or lending.
• Practice with test-driven development methodologies.
• Previous roles involving formal technical leadership or equivalent responsibilities.

Evaluation Process

The selection prioritizes technical judgment as much as technology expertise. Candidates should expect scenario-based questions dealing with past technical decisions, error handling, and design defenses. Experience alone is not the sole qualifier.
