Role Overview
This senior developer position focuses on DevSecOps engineering and hands-on operational support for the Symphony (SCS360) platform, supporting components such as Striim, Azure DevOps, DataBricks, and SQL environments on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure robustness, availability, and optimal performance of applications and infrastructure hosted on Azure.
- Architect and maintain scalable Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service clusters, networking, storage solutions, and app services.
- Design and implement infrastructure provisioning and management through Infrastructure as Code approaches using Terraform, emphasizing automation for deployment, scaling, and system recovery processes.
- Create and sustain secure, reliable, and streamlined CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps facilitating rapid and consistent software deployments.
- Deploy monitoring and observability frameworks leveraging Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to establish meaningful alerts, comprehensive health metrics, and anomaly detection enhanced with automation and AI-driven insights.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving applications, infrastructure components, and CI/CD pipelines by analyzing logs, telemetry data, and trace information.
- Maintain compliance with security policies and governance standards, managing secrets securely through Azure Key Vault and integrating identity management using Azure Active Directory.
Required Skills and Technologies
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services including AKS, Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and App Services.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Strong background in Container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Capability in scripting with PowerShell.
- Familiarity with source control using Git.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of monitoring platforms including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
