Senior Data Scientist

About the Role

decide4AI is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for an onsite position in Abu Dhabi through early 2027. The role involves contributing to a high-impact digital transformation and artificial intelligence initiative for a leading global energy company. You will collaborate with international teams on projects that have long-term vision and significant global influence.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with client stakeholders to identify business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Design and implement end-to-end Data Science solutions, covering data exploration through to deployment in production environments.
• Develop scalable machine learning models, data pipelines, and analytical tools.
• Participate in projects spanning Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Optimization, and Generative AI.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in Data Science, Engineering, and Business units.
• Communicate insights and impact effectively to both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.

Work Environment

The position is primarily office-based in Abu Dhabi, working alongside a diverse team of around 15 professionals. You will work closely with the client and technical teams in a fast-paced, multicultural setting with a strong focus on delivering results. Technology stacks include Python, cloud platforms, and modern data architectures.

Candidate Profile

• Fluent English at an advanced (C2) level is mandatory.
• Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven experience delivering Data Science solutions in real-world business settings.
• Experience in direct client or stakeholder engagement.
• Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving ability.
• Expertise with Python, machine learning, and data processing techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Ability to integrate analysis, development, modeling, and deployment phases seamlessly.
• Curiosity, proactivity, adaptability, quick learning, and a results-driven mindset.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, dynamic, and highly collaborative environments.
