Overview
Join one of the leading global payment companies as a Senior Compensation Analyst for the EMEA region. In this role, you will contribute to the continuously evolving benefits team and play a crucial part in defining the future of global commerce by managing and enhancing global compensation programs and advising on related policies and procedures.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and help design compensation programs including salary ranges, bonuses, sales incentives, and compensation policies and systems.
- Collect and analyze compensation survey data, including market salary surveys and competitor information, to perform job evaluations and market pricing for positions.
- Consult with management and employees regarding compensation policies, programs, and systems, offering comprehensive explanations to complex inquiries.
- Evaluate and maintain the job description database, ensuring accuracy and market comparability for submitted roles, and assist with updates as required.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable regulations affecting compensation administration, report regulatory changes, and administer related processes.
- Support the development and execution of regulatory compliance projects such as the EU Pay Transparency Directive by performing pay equity analyses, aligning job architectures, managing pay data reporting, and improving compensation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Compensation, HR, Legal, and business units to uphold pay transparency standards and recommend data-driven solutions to pay equity challenges.
- Generate standard and custom compensation reports, forecasts, and analyses derived from HR information and business systems to assist management decisions.
- Support executive compensation initiatives alongside the Head of Compensation and Benefits.
- Participate in global compensation projects, focusing on pay transparency, governance, job cataloging, and preparation for regulatory changes across multiple countries.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least six years’ experience in compensation analysis or administration, preferably with advisory responsibilities.
- Experience with pay transparency programs, pay equity analysis, regulatory reporting, or implementation of compliance measures such as the EU Pay Transparency Directive is highly desirable.
- Possession of professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP), or Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP) is preferred.
Desired Skills and Expertise
- Strong understanding of fundamental compensation principles, business processes, HR practices, and key labor regulations including the FLSA.
- In-depth knowledge of global compensation standards, pay transparency regulations, job architecture design, market pricing strategies, and pay equity concepts.
- Proficiency in analyzing compensation data, fulfilling regulatory reporting requirements, and supporting compliance initiatives related to EU pay transparency.
