Job description
Role Overview
Join a leading global payments company as a Product Manager focusing on Open Banking and Variable Recurring Payments (VRP). You'll oversee the entire product lifecycle, drive innovation for global commerce solutions, and collaborate across teams to enhance profitability and market relevance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product development and launch processes for small to moderately complex initiatives, managing profit and loss accountability for assigned product lines with typical annual revenues up to $250,000.
- Own and communicate comprehensive product roadmaps, including competitive analysis and prioritization of features based on input from industry experts, delivery, sales, and client management teams.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing products coordinating closely with marketing to establish pricing, value propositions, and promotional collateral.
- Create business cases supporting decision-making, prioritization, pricing, and articulating client value for new functionalities.
- Collaborate with business leaders, sales, IT, legal, marketing, and relationship management to define product goals, positioning, and pricing guidance, adhering to company methodologies.
- Conduct structured market research using diverse sources such as industry publications, client surveys, and analyst reports to inform strategic planning and product development.
- Facilitate product concept and requirements sessions with clients and internal teams, documenting outcomes suited for all stakeholders and integrating feedback efficiently.
- Work alongside product delivery and technology teams to validate design alignment with product goals, guiding testing and providing ongoing support throughout moderate complexity development projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; a combination of training and experience may be considered as substitute.
- Minimum of six years’ relevant experience, preferably with exposure to product services, customer engagement, or market-facing roles.
- Preferred background includes software development environments, professional services, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
