About The Role

In this position, you will collaborate closely with experienced Managers, Directors, and Partners across diverse industries. You'll engage directly with clients and oversee junior staff, cultivating strong client relationships by probing core business issues and responding with expert insights and intuitive understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit projects from initial planning stages through to final completion, ensuring adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of clients' business operations, processes, and financial reporting.
- Assess internal control effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
- Prepare and verify the accuracy of financial statements in line with accounting principles.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit team members, offering support and guidance.
- Partner with clients to resolve business challenges and support their goal achievement.
- Keep abreast of current industry regulations and auditing standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of three years' experience in external auditing.
- Strong command of IFRS standards.
- Thorough knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and guidelines.
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving aptitude.
- Capable of leading and managing junior audit teams.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Professional accounting credentials such as CA or CPA are preferred.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
- Experience handling multiple concurrent audits.
- A positive attitude and the ability to enjoy work.
