Role Summary
We are seeking motivated, dynamic, and talented individuals to join our expanding team as Security Command Centre Operators. This role revolves around monitoring and operating physical security systems and responding promptly to incidents to ensure safety and security on site.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate CCTV surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, and other physical security technologies.
- React to alarms and fault indicators according to established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Report all security incidents accurately and promptly to management.
- Support response to security incidents or suspicious activities, escalating issues as per standard protocol and SOPs.
- Maintain full understanding of emergency procedures.
- Manage access requests from staff for substations through notification call handling.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Team Leader or Reporting Officer.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess NITEC certification or higher.
- Hold a Private Licensed Registered Door Supervisor (PLRD) Security licence with at least a PWM grade of SSO.
- Preferably have experience working in a Command Centre environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a good command of English.
- Capable of working 12-hour rotating shifts and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
