Job Overview

Farmfoods is seeking a committed Retail Supervisor for our Wolverhampton store (postcode WV11 3HD). This is a permanent, full-time role requiring 39 hours per week spread over five days, with hours starting from 7 am. Flexibility to work weekends and varying shifts is essential.

Role Responsibilities

• Support management by leading and motivating the retail team to operate efficiently and deliver excellent customer service.
• Manage the store autonomously during the manager's absence, ensuring high standards of customer care, prompt handling of deliveries, and upkeep of shop cleanliness and safety.
• Take responsibility for opening and closing procedures, cash handling, order placement, and staff development.
• Oversee operational costs including shrinkage, waste reduction, and payroll management.

Candidate Requirements

• Reliability and trustworthiness due to the role's responsibility within a small team setting.
• Experience in retail supervision, team leadership, or management is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Successful completion of a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) is required; employment is contingent on a satisfactory background check.
