Role Overview

As a Store Manager, you will lead and inspire a dynamic retail team to deliver outstanding customer service, directly contributing to Petstock Group’s success. Working in an enjoyable, friendly, and inclusive environment, you will have ample opportunities to advance your retail career.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example, mentoring and motivating your team every day
• Coach team members to enhance their skills and product knowledge
• Consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience by leading from the front
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture within the team
• Recruit, onboard, and induct talented new team members
• Oversee stock management with accuracy and adherence to stock integrity processes
• Stay current with knowledge of pet care, products, and services in the industry
• Foster a positive, fun, and supportive workplace where the team enjoys coming to work
• Support local marketing initiatives and sponsorships proactively

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience in a store leadership role or readiness to progress to retail management
• Proven track record of meeting and surpassing sales targets
• Strong leadership capabilities with ability to inspire high performance and cultivate a positive team culture
• Effective prioritization and management of competing tasks to meet deadlines
• Commitment to enforcing safe Work, Health & Safety practices
• Well-developed business acumen
