Report Developer

Role Summary

The Report Developer role involves the design, creation, and deployment of comprehensive reports tailored for a stock trading platform. This position requires collaboration with business analysts and relevant stakeholders to accurately translate business needs into technical reporting solutions, ensuring compliance, precision, and prompt delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Develop reports specific to financial and trading systems environments.
• Utilize PySpark, SQL, and ETL knowledge to manage data transformations.
• Operate and produce outputs using reporting platforms such as SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Understand stock trading processes and financial data frameworks.
• Identify and resolve issues encountered during user acceptance testing and production rollouts.
• Maintain clear communication and effective management of stakeholder expectations.

Preferred Experience and Attributes

• Familiarity with credit pool model projects or engagements based on time-dependent services.
• Insight into banking technology environments along with compliance requirements.
• 3 to 7 years of IT support experience, particularly involving report development for a minimum of 3 years.
• Strong communication and writing capabilities.
• Self-motivated and proactive, capable of operating independently or within a team setting.
• Highly organized with a commitment to adhering to defined processes and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 3–7 years of IT development experience, ideally within banking or financial services, including at least 3 years focused on report development.
• Leadership experience managing a team of at least 6 members is preferred.
