About the Role
A reputable Irish construction firm based in Kildare is expanding its commercial and management team by hiring a Quantity Surveyor. This full-time, office-based position suits candidates with at least three years of relevant industry experience seeking long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in preparing valuations, handling variations, processing payment applications, and managing project costs.
- Assist with subcontractor orders, payments, and account reconciliations.
- Contribute to cost reporting, budget setting, forecasting, and maintaining comprehensive project records.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, site teams, and the broader commercial unit.
- Participate in tender analysis and procurement processes.
- Help with the preparation of final accounts and project closure activities.
- Ensure precise maintenance of commercial and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification relevant to the field.
- Have at least three years of experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role.
- Experience in sectors such as residential construction, civil engineering, utilities, or general construction is an advantage.
- Demonstrate strong commercial aptitude, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with standard contract forms is considered beneficial.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and the ability to function effectively within a team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
