Role Overview

The quantitative trading teams investigate and analyze complex global markets and various traded products by utilizing rigorous statistical analysis and data mining. These insights are then leveraged to create profitable predictive trading models.

As a Quantitative Trader, you will collaborate closely with experienced Traders and Quantitative Researchers to enhance strategy analysis, deepen market insight, and provide strong technical expertise. Your responsibilities will include deep examination of strategy performance, troubleshooting sophisticated infrastructure challenges, and adjusting algorithmic trading strategies on-the-fly to maintain peak effectiveness amid fluctuating market conditions. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • An analytical mindset capable of critical thinking, pattern recognition, and sound decision-making.
  • A strong self-motivation with a curiosity to explore the intricate world of high-frequency trading (HFT) and contribute to business improvement.
  • Genuine interest in understanding both microstructure and macro aspects of the financial markets.
  • Minimum of two years’ programming or software engineering experience, preferably using Python.
  • Proficient understanding of Linux system administration.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with the ability to travel and build relationships within a global organization.
  • Dependable and consistent availability.

Additional Advantage

  • Knowledge of statistics and machine learning techniques.
