Execution Trading & Trade Applications Developer

Role Overview

This role involves the execution of equity trades and developing innovative tools that enhance trading operations and automate financial processes. The position supports portfolio managers and traders by automating order execution, market data retrieval, position management, and reporting to improve overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out equity trade executions efficiently.
• Collect and interpret requirements from portfolio managers and traders to tailor solutions.
• Create software tools leveraging Bloomberg API and Enfusion API integrations.
• Automate multiple processes including order execution, market data acquisition, position and risk management, as well as reporting and reconciliation.
• Continuously enhance workflows to boost productivity and operational effectiveness.
• Adapt to a hybrid working model with 2-3 days working from home each week.
• Conform to Japanese public holidays rather than local Singapore holidays.
• Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient in business-level Japanese to effectively communicate with portfolio managers and analysts.
• Familiarity with trading operations and the dynamics of financial markets.
• Experience in automating processes using Python or comparable programming languages.
• Interest or prior exposure to Bloomberg API and similar financial APIs.
• A motivation to work within a front office-focused development setting.
• A strong propensity for enhancing business processes and driving automation initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

The monthly salary range is SGD 8,000 to SGD 15,000, accompanied by a fixed one-month bonus.
