Role Overview
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and suites across Tower's Digital and Core Insurance platforms. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to embed quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle and mentor team members in test automation to continuously elevate quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and sustain automated test frameworks covering both digital and core systems.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate quality practices into software development processes.
- Coach testers and engineers in automation techniques driving ongoing enhancements in QA capabilities.
Success Metrics in 6-12 Months
- Establish a reliable automation testing framework with comprehensive test coverage across platforms.
- Integrate automated test suites successfully into CI/CD pipelines for consistent release verification.
- Become a respected advocate for automation practices within Agile teams, improving quality and testing standards.
Candidate Requirements
- At least three years of practical experience as a Test Engineer with hands-on automation responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in test automation frameworks for both front-end and back-end systems.
- Experience in API automation and proficiency with web-based testing technologies and TDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Strong programming skills in C#.
- Background in Insurance or Financial Services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a strong passion for collaborative success.
