Project Manager - Data Center

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a regional data center developer and investor for a skilled Project Manager to be stationed in Johor Bahru (JB). This pivotal role entails managing the entire project lifecycle, from design and planning stages through construction, commissioning, and final handover within a growing data center platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from design conception through construction and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and resources effectively.

Requirements

• Demonstrated Project Management experience in the data center industry.
• A relevant degree such as Building Services Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of design, construction processes, and project delivery methodologies.
• Experience overseeing consultants, contractors, program schedules, costs, and quality assurance.
• Capability to lead projects through construction and system commissioning.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Previous experience working on projects in Malaysia or within the region is highly preferred.
