Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate production machinery and equipment as required
• Execute all necessary packaging tasks specific to various products
• Perform preventative maintenance including cleaning of equipment and facilities
• Handle the transportation of raw materials and finished products as needed
• Take ownership and accountability for duties related to workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives
• Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the Production Frontline Leader

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 education or an equivalent qualification
• Certifications in mechanical or electrical fields are advantageous
• Previous experience in production environments is beneficial
• Knowledge of food processing or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is an asset
• Capability to work within a unionized workplace
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required

Additional Information

The position offers a compensation rate of $22.00 per hour.
