Location and Contract
This full-time, permanent role is based at Tuatara Brewery (Brewtown) in Upper Hutt, Wellington.
Role Summary
Join Tuatara Brewery, where we're passionate about crafting exceptional beer and memorable experiences. As a Production Assistant, you will actively support the Packaging Manager and production team to maintain smooth operations and ensure our high-quality standards are met. The role requires a practical and dependable individual who prioritizes safety and efficiency in delivering top-notch products.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute production tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to schedules.
- Follow established standard operating procedures while keeping the workspace clean and organized.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving production challenges.
- Recognize equipment maintenance needs and contribute to preventative maintenance efforts.
- Offer suggestions to enhance brewery processes continuously.
- Promote and uphold a strong health and safety culture across the production environment.
Candidate Profile
- Dependable, hardworking, and committed to safety.
- Detail-oriented with a cooperative team approach.
- Forklift license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience in food, FMCG production, or manufacturing is advantageous but not required.
- Effective communication skills and eagerness to learn.
- Positive mindset with the ability to excel in a fast-moving setting.
