About the Role

Be part of DB Breweries, a member of the global HEINEKEN group, contributing to crafting the beloved cider enjoyed by people across New Zealand. This hands-on Cellarhand position supports our production team at Redwood Cidery in Nelson. Your work will be vital to ensuring the production of top-quality cider while upholding safety and quality standards and facilitating seamless operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cider manufacturing and filtration operations
• Manage receipt and handling of raw materials and fruit juice deliveries
• Maintain stringent hygiene and uphold 5S workplace organization principles
• Foster a safe, efficient, and high-performance team environment
• Identify and suggest continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

• Background in manufacturing, production, winery, brewery, food processing, or beverage sectors
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to product quality
• Effective team collaboration and communication abilities
• Possession of a forklift license preferred
• Qualifications in science, food technology, or winemaking are advantageous
