Job description
Position Overview
The role of Process Technician involves thorough verification and release of products through routine dosimetry procedures, ensuring adherence to quality assurance systems per company policies and customer expectations.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct dosimetry readings and authorize product release within established specifications following standard protocols.
- Complete all process assurance tasks diligently with attention to detail.
- Handle administrative responsibilities related to dosimetry and process documentation.
- Maintain and uphold process quality assurance systems aligned with customer requirements and STERIS standards.
- Provide logistical support and respond to customer inquiries efficiently and courteously via email or telephone.
- Prepare necessary production paperwork such as processing certificates, dosimetry reports, letters, routine reports, and shipping documentation; issue and follow up on paperwork within management-authorized limits.
- Set up validation loads according to dosimetry needs based on validation or customer protocols.
- Organize Dose Audit procedures as mandated by customers.
- Collect dosimeters from routine and validation processing loads during working days and weekends as applicable.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to reinforce the image of a high-quality G.M.P. healthcare company.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Offer operational support to management when required.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Vocational or technical degree qualification.
- At least two years of experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.
Specific Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality assurance programs such as ISO 13485.
- Experience in healthcare manufacturing settings.
- Meticulous attention to detail and capability to follow documented procedures accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to effectively liaise with customers, operators, managers, and company representatives.
- Capacity to motivate and coordinate a team focused on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
