About the Role
PepsiCo, a leader in the global FMCG sector, seeks a dependable and safety-conscious Process Operator to join the Bluebird Foods team at their Wiri location in Auckland, New Zealand. Bluebird Foods has been a household name in New Zealand for over 70 years, offering popular salty snack brands like Bluebird Originals, Doritos, Copper Kettle, Grain Waves, Twisties, and Cheetos.
Work Details
- Location: Wiri, Auckland
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm
- Status: Full-time permanent position
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial cooking and production machinery with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Manage automated robotic systems involved in packaging chips into packets and boxes.
- Accurately record and enter production data into computerized systems.
- Ensure flavour testing is carried out properly to maintain the desired product quality during production runs.
- Conduct quality checks, oversee material and waste management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum education level: NCEA Level 1-3 or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in operating processing machinery preferred; an understanding of HACCP and GMP standards is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail, safety, and dependability.
- Capability to work collaboratively within an efficient food production team and contribute actively to food safety goals.
