Merchandiser

Overview

This position is based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, serving the Halifax Regional Municipality area with a workweek of 40 hours and 8-hour shifts, requiring open availability. The hourly wage is $25.44.

In the Merchandiser role, you will be instrumental in delivering well-known beverage brands across Canada directly into customer outlets. The ideal candidate is ambitious, hardworking, and views challenges as opportunities for growth. Being motivated, physically strong, team-oriented, and possessing excellent organizational capabilities are essential. Previous experience in customer service or roles that required considerable independence and interpersonal skills is advantageous. It suits students from various academic programs or anyone with experience in environments requiring self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Stocking PepsiCo products on store shelves, racks, coolers, and promotional displays using manual or powered tools.
• Ensuring all store promotions are well-supported by fully stocked shelves and optimal placement of promotional materials.
• Collaborating effectively with Account Sales Representatives and Delivery teams to ensure excellent service to all PepsiCo accounts.
• Keeping back-room inventory organized and tidy.
• Removing expired products regularly to maintain product freshness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School Diploma, Professional Studies Diploma, or equivalent certification.
• Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Physical capability to handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
