Role Overview
We seek a seasoned AI engineer skilled in GenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI frameworks to craft scalable, production-grade solutions that optimize complex technical workflows and empower project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop multi-agent systems and autonomous AI workflows to automate semiconductor IP R&D processes.
- Create AI copilot solutions incorporating capabilities such as tool utilization, strategic planning, and memory management.
- Design prompt generation mechanisms and orchestration logic that handle intricate, multi-step tasks efficiently.
- Devise and optimize retrieval pipelines targeting semiconductor IP document sets like specifications, verification reports, and design documentation.
- Implement ETL pipelines for document processing: parsing, chunking, and semantic enrichment to enhance searchability.
- Improve retrieval outcomes leveraging evaluation metrics, re-ranking techniques, and hybrid search algorithms.
- Develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients for secure context transmission across enterprise-grade tools.
- Create Agent-to-Agent (A2A) integration interfaces to tightly couple AI services with existing IP development workflows.
- Build APIs facilitating seamless communication between AI agents and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
- Establish evaluation frameworks covering retrieval accuracy, agent task success, and output quality assessment.
- Implement safeguards including hallucination detection, domain-specific output validation, and guardrails to ensure credibility.
- Construct observability infrastructure to monitor tracing, token usage, and latency metrics.
- Optimize performance and cost efficiency via caching, intelligent model routing, and token consumption management.
- Collaborate effectively with IP design and verification teams to understand domain challenges and translate them into AI-based solutions.
- Thoroughly document architecture designs, prompt methodologies, and integration templates to facilitate team scalability.

Qualifications

- Advanced proficiency in Python programming, including modular development, comprehensive testing, and documentation standards.
- Familiarity with semiconductor IP development domain knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with ETL pipeline construction, system observability, and cloud-based deployment models.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline required.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of MCP and Agent-to-Agent integration techniques.
- Experience integrating AI systems with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
